Welcome to The Sewing Birdie. By accessing or using our website at shop.thesewingbirdie.com (the “Site”), purchasing our products, or enrolling in our courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our Site.
1. About Us
The Sewing Birdie operates an online store and learning platform offering sewing patterns, digital downloads and educational courses. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to The Sewing Birdie.
2. Eligibility
By using this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are using the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or placing an order.
3. Products and Orders
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion. All product descriptions, images, and prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and are inclusive or exclusive of taxes as indicated.
Nothing is shipped: every product is a digital download, delivered on your order confirmation page and by email. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs processing.
4. Digital Products and Courses
Digital downloads and course content are delivered electronically and are made available to you immediately after purchase. Under EU consumer law, distance purchases normally carry a 14-day right of withdrawal, but that right is lost once supply of the digital content begins. By ticking the instant-delivery consent box at checkout, you give your express prior consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal as soon as the file is downloaded. Digital downloads and course content are therefore non-refundable once access has been granted or the file has been downloaded, except where the file is faulty or not as described. For what is and is not covered, see our Refund & Returns Policy. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use digital content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or share digital content with others.
Course access is granted to the individual purchaser only. Sharing login credentials or course materials with third parties is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination without refund.
5. Payments
We accept payment via credit and debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, and other methods presented at checkout, processed securely through Stripe. By submitting a payment, you represent that you are authorised to use the payment method provided. All transactions are encrypted and secure.
6. Returns and Refunds
The Sewing Birdie sells digital products only, so nothing is shipped and there is no physical item to return. Digital products and courses are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, in line with the EU rules explained in Section 4 (Digital Products and Courses) — which is why we ask for your express consent at checkout before the files are delivered. If a file is faulty, wrong, or missing, we will repair or replace it, or refund you instead; the Bustier Dress Course also carries a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. 7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, images, patterns, course materials, logos, and graphics, is the property of The Sewing Birdie and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written permission.
8. User Accounts
If you create an account on our Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Sewing Birdie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, our products, or our courses. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

The Site and all products and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
